Much of the population today may either live with
chronic pain, are lonely, take prescription medication,
are fatigued, or are unhappy with life and how
they feel. This is not uncommon and much of it
is caused by their actions. A very important aspect
of understanding who we are is understanding our
thoughts and how much energy (positive or negative)
thoughts can create. “[…][O]ur experiences
in life are actually our own state of mind being
projected outward” (Truman 4). If we think
of life and ourselves in a positive, joyful, loving,
and well-being manner then those qualities will
be projected outward. Furthermore having a positive
state of mind will bring us all positive experiences.
Within the universe/cosmos, there are laws that
govern our behaviors. If we disrupt these laws,
then we will create disharmony within the universe/cosmos,
which will have an effect on us. One law that
governs many lives is the Law of Control stating
that we feel good about ourselves to the degree
we have control over our lives. If we feel bad
about ourselves then we have created a disharmony
and life is controlling us. Another law that many
live by is the Law of Accident, which states by
failing to plan we are planning to fail. Many
Americans live their lives with no purpose or
goal just waiting for the next thing to happen
that will dictate how the day, month, or year
will occur. In reality, these people go through
the same routine everyday, just waiting for something
to happen. Life is a choice and people can control
their own destiny. It can be either I can or I
can’t. You make the call! If we follow the
Law of the Universe, which is cause and effect,
we can change things. The Law of the Universe
states that for every effect in our life, there
is a specific cause. So if we feel terrible, depressed,
or unhappy with our lives, we must identify the
causes and work to change them.
Everything in life is created with a feeling or
a thought about something. You create that thought
which will vibrate through your body and create
your reality. People have the choice on whether
the thought or feeling is positive or negative.
There is no such thing a chance, we actually do
control are own destiny (Law of the Universe-
cause and effect). Just like organic food is important
in order to provide your body with the necessary
fuel for life, we must provide our mind and spirit
with the appropriate thoughts (meditation, positive
thinking, Qi Gong, etc.) When you feed your mind,
body and spirit/soul with the necessary energy,
that is the first step in controlling life and
life not controlling you.
